There will be a press conference today at 4 p.m. introducing our new general manager and also our field manager. Looks like Singin' Ed is returning after all.

I also hope he will be warmly welcomed back. His departure had more to do with the change in ownership than anything else.

The movie's description is: *Quote:* (...) the tale of this colorful baseball vagabond attracted the attention of film producer Julie Campbell, whose independent film company is currently casting a feature motion picture that follows Nottle's life from the time he was 9. Other comments include that Bill Murray, having been Ed's team's owner in Brockton, was going to play Ed. Somehow I think that's a stretch. There are two other pieces in the SCJ, one is a news story about his return and an opinion piece that says "Welcome Back." Clearly this is seen as a positive move in Siouxland.
