Heard from a pal of mine in SC that the legend will be returning to the helm of the Explorers.
Please say it's true! It hasn't been the same without Ed. |

The Explorers home page under the Coaches section lists Ed Nottle as the Field Manager. There will be a press conference today at 4 p.m. introducing our new general manager and also our field manager. Looks like Singin' Ed is returning after all.

I think its a great move for the X's , they also hired Shane Trizt to be their GM . He has experience with the Coastal Bend Aviators, Omaha Royals and the X's.

Signin' Ed: The 26th Man --ON FILM | ||
|
The SCJ has a story reporting that a film crew is making a movie about Ed Nottle and that Sioux City will be one of the venues. The movie's description is:
Quote:Other comments include that Bill Murray, having been Ed's team's owner in Brockton, was going to play Ed. Somehow I think that's a stretch. There are two other pieces in the SCJ, one is a news story about his return and an opinion piece that says "Welcome Back." Clearly this is seen as a positive move in Siouxland. |
