My story will trace the two seasons of the Fielders from the perspective of players, coaches, fans and the community, and I'd like to speak to a variety of people who were involved with the team or went to a lot of games. Some of it was rehashing what was discussed here and in other media outlets, but there were a few good anecdotes included. Was that successful and is RE 10.4 million dollars richer, or is that court case still in the works? I just want it confirmed. Also that trip from Edmonton to Winnipeg by Grey Hound must have been horrible for them. I too was on a simular grey hound bus from Calgary to Winnipeg once and it was the worst thing I have ever been on. One thing they should say rather than "it took more than 20 hours to reach Winnipeg" is that "it took almost 30 hours to reach Winnipeg" I drive to Edmonton and did my last trip non stop in a 17 hour road trip only stopping for washroom breaks and gas. 17 hours is going at the speed limmit (maybe a little faster) but if I am not mistaken, I think Grey hounds travel at 10KM less than the speed limmit plus Grey hours stop at every hick town around. Edmonton is a little farther away from Winnipeg than Calgary and the Bus ride from Calgary to Winnipeg that I was on was about 25 to 26 hours. Edmonton would be at least 2 hours longer. But hours aside, it is non stop wheat. BBOOOOOORRRRRIIINNGGG. After reading that article I feel real bad for those players and fans.
