I have to admit I have rarely seen a game as peculiar as the Sunday game at the Yard.
Even Rusty's dance-off victory was ... ah ... tainted. Johnson pitched very well. This has to be a positive for the Cats for the playoffs. |

Explain please. I realize people were wondering what--if any--repercussions there might be. Maybe I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have to
the dance-off. Lucky for me I don't pay too much attention to it. I look at it as an attraction for newcomers and children--we regulars kind of know that
Rusty usually wins--and he should. After all, he's the main man--er, RailCat.

Aw come on, Catfan! Rascal was clearly the winner on Sunday.
And he is constantly getting jobbed by Jason. |

Rusty is a better dancer, period. His little brother Rascal was born during the hip-hop generation and only knows one dance...Hip Hop. He'll
never win. Rusty also did a dance on the field while the same dance from Napoleon Dynamite was on the video board. It was a gem.
Peculiar as in Fargo's pitcher (Mossey) being chased out of the game in the first inning??? Couldn't get one single batter out. Or peculiar as in Fargo's manager switching himself to first base coach for awhile??? |

I think Simi just got tired of being out there.
But Mossey looked clueless and the 6 runs were really just ... kind of scored. Like, no big deal. You just looked up and 6 runs had scored. Fargo was wupped. The rest of the game seemed like it was in slow motion. But back to the real topic at hand (threadjackers, unite!) is the ongoing MYTH that Rusty is a better dancer than Rascal. Yeah, repertoire does matter but it's all about style. Rusty is a grungy overweight ... um ... cat. I do not like the way this all came down, this dance-off fix. YES, I SAID FIX! |

I guess I'd rather see the Cats sweep Friday and Saturday but personally, I vote for a split.
I would not be able to see the deciding game otherwise. Anyway, this is going to be a great series.
