WOW!!!!!!!! What a game on Sat night. Not only because we won, but the way we did it. We did not give up at all. They played hard the whole game. Not scoring
in the 2 or 3 previous innings and still playing hard. And McGill sliding hard into second........what a play to allow Alexander to make it to first......KUDOS
to ALL the Dogs. Play hard and keep your head up. Thanks for the exciting game......as always GO DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!

But the Saints did not get swept. Our season may be over but we're not completely out (yet).

I wasn't implying anything about the Saints. Just that I was impressed how the Dogs fought hard. Sorry if you took that way nlfan.

If Wichita were to win the second half as well, their divisional playoff
opponent would be the team with the next best full season record...is this correct? In that case, Lincoln is 3 up on St. Paul with 6 to play....wouldn't say it's over yet, as the Saints could certainly beat up on S. City..... |

The problem with that scenario (for the Saints) is that we finished only 1 game ahead of the 'Dogs. Marty and the boys would have to have a major collapse
to change the likely outcome.
What is most interested to think about is that the current series is likely to be repeated next week --starting in the same venue in fact (a week from today). |

Wichita opted for the Games 3-5, so the games would be in Lincoln in a week.

Oh... didn't know that. I haven't heard much about the post season schedule (for the obvious reasons).
