I have another rant anyway. It is somewhat unrelated, but somewhat related. Chicago closed huge public housing projects and forced those people into Chicagoland suburbs and Northwest Indiana suburbs. Now Chicago is NO LONGER one of the most dangerous cities (the lakefront is beautiful near Jackson Park). The other side of the coin, suburbs are seeing a spike in criminal activity like they have never seen before. Joliet is feeling the effect and Schaumburg is also feeling the effect.
