Me and the wife just got back from a game at Quick Trip Park home of the AirHogs. We were watching a college game. My wife wanted a hotdog so being a good
husband as I am went to get one price $4.50 for a dog. Well you know what never again! I made up my mine and decieded not to renew my season tickets with the
AirHogs! My questions is how much for a hotdog at your ball park??? Whats so funny you go to a QT store you get 2 for $2 dollars!!! Go figure! Gotta have my

4.50 for a hotdog thats bend over I will drive kinda prices. Funny the hotdogs dont even taste that good, they are left in luke warm water for long period of
times, and served warm at best, most of the time cold. You can get a pack of 12 for what about 1.50 2.00, and turn around and sell them to the suckers, I mean
fans for twice the amount. What a deal..

The concession stands at QT are not run by the team. The stands are run by Sodexho and they get to set the prices on all the food. If you want to boycott,
boycott the concession stands and go eat in the restaurant. You support the team a lot on this board and you decide because of a hot dog not support the team.
Not really a true fan then

When your on a fixed income SSDI your money can only go so far! For you to say I don't support the team! You might be right after talking with David Burk
and Matt Berry last night. Year 2 STILL NO FAN CLUB!!! The front office have no clue whats going on in and around Grand Prairie. First off if it wasn't for
our hispanic friends in GP we would not have beer and wine sales! Thus we would not have a new stadium! So what are the HOGS doing for our hispanic people???
NOTHING! What about the hugh asian market in Irving and Arlington??? What are they doing for them??? NOTHING! You ask them about promotions??? ANSWER were
still working on it. You don't want to get me started about last season. The Hogs need local managment not a bunch of folks from Detriot! Example! Look at
the NFL Lions! Need I say more! Need another glass of sweet tea!

I don't think it's fair to be calling someone a non-true fan if they want to boycott the Airhogs. We don't know a person's financial situation.
If people here are blindly willing to hand over money for their team no matter what they charge for tickets or parking or concessions and souvenirs, that's
their choice. Don't judge because someone has a differing opinion.
Besides that, any club is partially responsible for any price increases in concessions. They negotiate the deal with the food service vendor and sign off on the deal. I am somewhat disappointed that Sodexho is gettting the concessions for the Airhogs. From what I remember the times I visited QTP last year, most of the food was pretty decent. Sodexho runs the concessions over at TCU, and they have their $4 hotdogs and $4.00 24-ounce soft drinks (not 32 ounces like last year at QTP) and their other items which are very close to what the Rangers, a major league team charges. So it's likely they will charge the same prices as they do at TCU games. If this happens, the fans will speak with their wallets over the season, one way or another. I realize that no one puts a gun to my head and forces me to buy anything at the ballpark. Reasonably priced stuff I go for, and when I feel something is overpriced I don't buy. People will still buy the $4 hotdogs at the ballpark and others won't pay that kind of money. Oh well..maybe Sodexho is trying to balance things out with the Airhogs having dollar hot dog night on Sundays there Don't wanna pay $4 for a dog? Go out to QTP on Sundays and make up for
what you don't eat during the rest of the week at games!

Now do you people see why we tailgate up here in St. Paul? Or at least it's ONE of the reasons we tailgate. I'd love to be able to tell you folks how
much a hot dog is at Midway Stadium, but to be honest, I have no idea. We get our grub on BEFORE we get into the game. I don't see the price of hot dogs
dictating whether or not I go to a game or not, but everybody's situation, morally and financially is different.
I do know the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, which has great hot dogs, charges $3.50 apiece. Like they said on the Man Show, the Hot Dog maybe be expensive, but the toppings are FREE!!!

At one point last summer, one hotdog and coke at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita cost me $20 based on their new cashless environment. Of course I have
aroung $14 left on the Wingnuts debit card to use this season.
While I enjoy the baseball, I didn't find the process as convenient as cash or cashless transactions any faster. Oh well... bring on the boys of summer! More info here: http://www.wichitawingnuts.com/tvc.html |

I understand what its like to live on a small fixed income. I agree that Sodexho charges way too much for the quality of food I've seen so far. I also
agree that there is alot of room for improvement in the game-day environment and promotions. There is a real lack of cooperation in the front office. Fan
suggestions should be considered and not completely discarded. But in spite of all that, I enjoyed the quality of baseball that we had last year. I believe
that having a tailgating area would be great but don't know what the city/ Lone Star Park would say about it. Could probably start it up in Whiskey
Charlie's parking lot. I agree with airhogsfan that there needs to be at least one local person in the front office and hiring someone b/c they are the
girlfriend of an assistant gm to run gameday and promotions is not a smart move especially when that person has one year of experience in professional
baseball.
