I see in the paper that Pat Mahomes was traded to the Canaries to complete a trade. Did he start out with the Canaries and go
to another team to be part of their playoffs? Why is this allowed? |

Because "rent a players" are allowed. Unless you have leagues agree to DISallow such trades it will continue. There's little or nothing new here.
Mahomes is just the latest "rent a player."
