Posts: 2 ( 3-May-08 12:04:47) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None It was a cold and wet night but the Saltdogs hung in there to put on a good show against the Wichita Wingnuts in an exposition game against the Wichita Wingnuts in Beatrice Nebraska to benefit the Beatrice baseball program. No locker rooms. no heat, no amenities. They signed autographs for every kid who stood in line. They walked to the concession stand just like the spectators to buy a cup of coffee to try and warm up. Homer was a big hit with the kids. Saltdogs staff were there to support the team and answer questions for fans. Why would they all do this - LOVE OF THE GAME! And that's why we love our team (the players, the coaches, the trainers, and all of the Saltdogs staff - they are the BEST)!

Sounds like a post from the PR/Marketing dept. Glad to hear the bats got going. Anyone head down to KC this weekend for the EXHIBITION games at Community One Ballpark against our old rivals?
