If you depend on their Website for news, not likely much will occur.

There are several new people in the RC family. Jahi left and he usually took care of the releases. I'm not sure who is now responsible, so they must
still be working things out.

Andy Viano has apparently assumed his position in media relations. The Website is beginning to liven up a little.
My gal-pal and I were discussing the really lame (so far) efforts the team has produced in marketing its merchandise. I suppose I can understand not having a ton of stuff left over from fall to spring but this team gutted the SouthShore Depot by the end of the league series. That's an aspect of the total marketing process that I didn't fully grasp. All the same, on the Website, which is about the only real link the fans have to the team over the off-season, absurd "poll" questions about the Cubs and White Sox seem counterproductive. A better question: Which would you rather have: cheaper hot dogs or cheaper seats? (no thanks, keep the hot dog) |
