I'm calling BS on the not going to the Force games as much as the Jets. Right now, I'm sure the Force is seen as the bullies taking over the neighborhood, but in time the folks in Fargo will embrace them. I also don't think there is going to be too much of a change in ticket prices, at least judging from my experience in going to USHL games. You have a good little player coming up there in Bryce Ravndalen, take good care of him. I met his parents this weekend, good people.

Too steer this back to baseball. Just as a hypothetical question, let's say a team in Affiliated ball moved into Fargo chasing the Redhawks out. Would people rebel against it or would they still come out as long as things weren't too drastically different?

the ticket prices are more then doubled.. the force are owned by a major jerk who made his money forclosing on farmers (and now expects the city of fargo to bend over backward in order for him to make even more money). the team has forced out the only successful jr hockey team to ever play in fargo, a team i have watched since their very first exhibition game.
If i go to a force game it will be because i get complimentary tickets. As far as being a Force supporter, it aint gunna happen. If i want to see a hockey game i'll watch a Fargo North, Fargo South, or Moorhead hockey game, or check out Bismarck or Alex for some Jr. hockey action. The Force have burned a lot of bridges in a very short time, and i'm pretty confident in saying not many of the Jet's faithful will transfer thier loyalties to a new franchise just because it has 'Fargo' on the sweater (thus the recently popular "F*** the Force" chant eminating for the detox section of the hanger).

Jets and Redhawks are very difficult to compare. Most of the attendance at a Redhawks game are there for the event, not neccesarily for the "redhawks". Most of the Jets fans in attendance at any given game had become 'regulars' (attending at least half the season's home games), with a passion for what they considered 'their boys'.
