Just noticed on the Golden League transactions page (http://www.goldenbaseball.com/subcontent.aspx?SecID=849) that the Calgary Vipers agreed to terms
on January 24 with OF Jorge Poo Tang. Are they that desperate for attention so they signed the guy with the most ridiculous name in professional baseball?

I've been following these message boards for a while and correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you a Vipers insiders General Manager ? Jorge Tang was
a good young player for the Vipers last season who progressed nicely throughout the year. He made some very clutch hits for the Vipers during the playoff run
and even when his defense wasn't the best he always seemed to play with tons of heart. The Golden League and whomever posted his name as Jorge Poo Tang
should be embarrassed. I expect a little more professionalism, even if this is minor league indy baseball.

I am not a Vipers insider, have no connection to the team, and live almost 2000 miles away from Foothills Stadium. Just a simple fan of indy baseball. You may be confusing me with a Vipers shill/employee who went by the handle of "Coach". For all his grandstanding, "Coach" was probably was little more than a gopher that was permitted in the Viper's front office meetings...if only to hand everyone their coffee. Totally agree with you on the Jorge Tang transaction listing by the Golden League. |
