nice to see he's signed for '08. If he can ever overcome his control issues he
could be a dominant pitcher. He's definitely intense out there (almost to a fault) but he is one of the more personable guys on the team and very giving
with his time. now i'm getting anxious for that warm summer day sitting at a picnic table with the sound of leather popping in the bullpen snapping out
over the noise of a filled up beer garden. ready for a beer yet 'hawksfan?

I am ready. It will be here before you know it. Lawson is a great guy very polite and you can tell he loves the game. You are right though he is just a bit
intense. He may feel more at ease being asked to come back though and hopefully it reflects on the field. I think he felt like he was in an audition last
season and never relaxed.

I met her at a Vipers game when Bret was pitching for the Goldeye's. Although I never heard back from her on how it turned out  Ah well, maybe Bret will see this and let me know.
