While we all know his skill, I am curious if he will be the right fit. Also is Hal Lanier able to go back to Joliet?? http://www.xsbaseball.com/box/x/?id=6229 This rounds out the managers for next season and WOW what a lineup!! This will be the best managed indy league in history.

Year after year the teams are run by the best and the recent hires in Lancaster and Southern Maryland indicate that trend will continue.

Posts: 35 (21-Nov-07 00:53:53) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	As far as indy pedigree goes I'll take Kash and Les over Butch Hobson (southern MD) and Von Haves (lancaster). Anyone who has seen Kash knows he is one of the best in the world at managing a baseball team. If he controls his temper and can play nice with others (see Wally Backman) he'd be the total package and certainly wouldn't be in the AA. All Les Lancaster Does every year is take a team with lesser talent then other teams and finishes with a better record then loaded teams. While admittedly I have not seen Butch Manage since the Red Sox, I have seen Hayes manage and from all accounts he is very good. Hayes has NO indy background. I'll take the AA Managers over ANY in the country and that includes the beloved (over rated) Atlantic league.

Posts: 57 (22-Nov-07 02:13:18) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Kash was let go by Lincoln due to an off the field incident with a girlfriend at a restaurant late one night. Lincoln let Les go, if I remember right, because of some chemisty issues with the players and management. Both seemed to be good field managers and had success here. Les is coming to a team which played pretty well for good portion of last season and has some talent. Kash will be managing a first year club, just as he did in Lincoln's first year.
