if you mean who was Pedro Guerrero he was a 15 yr vet of the major leagues.. a 5 time allstar
and in the top 5 for MVP voting 4 times.
Although i have no direct knowlege of his travel accomodations it wouldn't surprise me if he was flown to games. He was certainly a 'bigname' player back in 1994, and similar arrangements have been made with players with CONSIDERABLY less notariaty (and accomplishment) *coughjimmyhurstcough* |

Yeah, that's the guy. On Wikipedia it says he played for the Canaries, so I
figured he flew while he was with the canaries. I was thinking maybe some posters on here remember this story.

I remember him. He was a star in the league for the two years he played for the Canaries. And I believe it was true that he flew instead of riding the bus to
the more distant games (like Thunder Bay, Duluth, St. Paul and probably Rochester).
