What's going on with Pichi Balet? Looking at the stats on the AA website he's been stuck on 16 AB's for the last 4-5 days.

Yep... they mentioned he had some sort of injury last night. I believe he and Julius Thames are "day to day."

Thanks nlfan. I figured he must have gotten hurt and not just sitting out since he was off to such a hot start.

Balet was batting on the Sunday, May 11th game when he fouled a foul off his foot (or maybe his ankle?) He appeared to have a limp in his next few at-bats, so
it wasn't shocking when he was pulled.

On the broadcast last night they say he broke a bone on a foul and that's why he'll be out for so long. Let's all hope he heals quickly.

to break a bone on a foul. I can remember Pichi missing only a handful of games in Lincoln. Second that on him getting healed quickly and back playing.
