At tonight's game, it looked like about half of the lights were burnt out in right field, about a quarter burned out in left.
What's going on? Or is our team just trying to save on electricity? |

The lack of lighting also creates a safety issue for the players.

No lights burned out at the Steel Yard last night but the early innings, it seemed like the place was not well lit.
That was, I think, due to the twilight and the overcast. But I did actually look around to see if I wasn't just imagining that. Once it got dark, it seemed bright enough, though. |

A few shots from tonight and you can see the outfield is well lit even with the few bulbs burnt out.

I don't see an dark areas and I don't see where a player's safety might be an issue.
