It's sounds like that started already with what I believe I heard was cutting Demetrius ("Meatball") Heath. It may have been an injury or something (I can't find any transaction related to him on the league or team site).
The concern that GP fans should have is the sometimes painful learning experience new managers have when they enter indy ball. They often underestimate the skill level of the league and/or have some trouble balancing the incomplete tool sets of the players available. The fact is you'll rarely find any excellent "five-tool" guys in indy ball since they would be, by definition, "prospects" and (already) picked up by affiliated ball. Transitioning from MiLB can be tricky.
Another is to be very careful about stocking teams with "local" talent. It may be nice to have press releases about having a team with a local phenom or "full of Texans," but that should take a back seat to actual ability at this level. One of the most telling comments/experiences I've had as a Saints fan was having one manager spend most of the season saying "But they looked so good during spring training."
Then again, maybe it was simply "too cold" for players who spent the pre-season with temperatures in the 80s not 50s. And one series does not make a series for any club (including the Saints). Whatever the case, the next series with the Sports should be a better indicator and our teams won't meet again this (regular) season. I suspect I'll see a more successful club when I'm at the QT in two weeks.

) I can see them improving and giving teams fits later on.
