Nathan Haynes update |

RailCat alum Nathan Haynes was recently reassigned to the Angels' minor-league camp. It looks like he'll start the season with the AAA Salt Lake Bees, so he's only a phone call away from the Big Time! Hang in there, Nate!

Nathan Haynes has been called up to the Angel's major league club. Congratulations to him. He was obviously a great player when he was in Gary, but he has clearly picked up his game to a whole new level. Good luck to Nathan in the show.

Last night Nathan made his major league debut and got his first hit in his first at bat. He is currently hitting 1.000 in his major league career. He got a single and scored a run.

Congrats to Nathan Haynes! The next time the Angels of Anaheim are at the Cell Block on West 35th Street, we should all don our RailCat gear and salute him!

In what was one of the more exciting Angel's games of the year, Nathan Haynes made a huge impact. The Angels had trailed 4-0 late in the game. Nathan capped off the comeback scoring the tying run in the eighth inning. He entered the game as a pinch runner in the eighth inning. With two outs, Reggie Willits hit a single into left-center, and Nathan scored all the way from first base. He later added a single to center. The Angels won the game in extra innings after a Chone Figgins triple. Speed kills and Nathan is proving it.

Nathan Haynes was recently picked up by the Tampa Bay Rays after the Angels placed him on waivers. This should be a better playing situation for him, as the
Angels' outfield is very crowded. By the way, does anyone have any information on the other RailCat grads, Willie Glen, Jose Yepez and Chad Blackwell?
