the folks here want a manager that is honest and has integrity
that is not questionable......its not always about winning..thats
why with your statement how baseball got into its mess....we need
to nip it in the bud and take a no tolerance stance simple.......

thats where hal was perfect for the demographics here......if he
could only have handled the pitchers better IMO.....

and I can count the names of ex-players on one hand last time I checked
from wallys ex-teams....

and for drug testing....its there and if your caught your guilty period....from past jackhammer teams only one player had a so called
problem with the testing and that was for a weight loss drug that had
to do with water loss......when u get caught with a masking agent thats
pretty obvious of the integrity of the player and when a mgr doesn't
care.....that says alot about his integrity.......let alone lying to fans.....

and I hope I'm there when aunt shirley confronts wally on his little
lies at the get together......thats going to be a show in its self.......LOL

we'll see what the season brings....

the statements are facts......what wally has said was
right to my face.....or a players face

as for a players past...you do some d & d and find the facts
on them real easy....

handling pitchers.....well there are some sitting in the stands while not pro's do have a few years of playing or coaching
in their past.....even a layman last year was scratching
his head over some of the moves made....and it might have not been
hal but the line ends with him.....

and getting the "short" end of the stick and being decieved are two different things......I would say its a gound judge of character on how a mgr handles his situations.....you can be a professional about how you
handle things......thats why some don't get a chance at the bigs sometimes
