Is *any* player returning to Lincoln this year? I understand indie teams are ever changing, but this seems excessive.

Why would we sell Pichi and not get another player in return? Also, why would you sell one of your best players to another team in your league? I looked at
the Saints website and they are pretty much salivating over the notion of having Pichi and Longmire together in the lineup. If you want to win a championship,
you don't do it by stocking the opposition's cupboard for them. This really is looking like a fire sale.

They were already a potent lineup through August without Pichi. Imagine how many runs Scooter Jordan will score with these guys behind him after he gets on
base. Don't forget veteran hitters like Kevin Sullivan, Ben Thomas, Brian Sprout, and Fernando Valenzuala, Jr. As a Saltdog fan, its unfortuanate to say
that Pichi will probably get his ring after all. Wonder if the Saints have contacted Josh? They wouldn't even have to give up cash for him to return to
St Paul since he was outright released. They would have room for another veteran if Derrick White plays in Mexico again this year.

Pichi wanted to leave. He wanted to go to a team that he feels he can win a championship with and retire on the field with that honor under his belt. Also,
personally, it was not working out in the city of Lincoln. Too much drama for him to be able to concentrate on baseball....

lol to much drama in lincoln come on,,, i think its funny people come on here and try to tell everyone how they know a player so well... first of all nobody on
this thing should know about drama off the field unless its himself on here writing second of all he has been trying to retire then comeback way to much kind
of took away the glory from it

I agree with you regarding the reitrement thing baseballdogs. Why keep a player who threatens to leave every season? He also said that he plans to play only
one season in St Paul then retire (again). But I can tell you this is a small town and the players need to be careful who they speak to and socialize with
regarding off-time. They are considered local heros and have to uphold their reputations. Host families know them well......I hope he has a great season this
year in St Paul.
