Northern League brawl??? |

Ok, did I miss this on a thread or did nobody post about a huge bench clearing brawl this season that included a bullpen pitcher running out to punch the other
teams Rightfielder? Clark Griffith alluded to it on the Sports Show last night, and I had no idea what he was talking about.

Mike, that poses a question for somebody who would do a series socio-impact study, you know ... the kind the government pays for at the University of Raleigh.
Do ballplayers really carry a grudge? |

I'm surprised there hasn't been a Flyers/Railcats fight yet. I saw the Flyers/Goldeyes fight in person, it was kinda intense .

There would be no shortage of opportunity for fights but my observations of Tagert is that he doesn't let a lot of that get out of hand with his players.
Naturally, anybody can snap a cap at any time. Let's hope not.

There are a lot of unwritten rules in baseball--and that's one of them. Play hard and try to win, but know thy place in the grand scheme of things. Of course, if one team tries to show-up the other then all bets are off. That hasn't happened though. The Flyers just can't get guys out when it counts.

you need sometimes. This week should be interesting though especially with how the Flyers and Jackhammers have been.
