Aviators are out of Nueces

This Will also likely spell the end for Saint Joe. One thing it does do is help the United league which it has become clear the AA doesn't consider a
threat. Also interesting is the continental league (does anyone really consider them a REAL indy league). They say 800 fans would be fine for them b/c the cost
is so low.

So baseball will likely survive in Robbstown for now!!

The city is not taking over the team. They're suing to get their money. They do not get any ownership of the club
but could try selling any tangible assets left on the property (again, like they did in Duluth when the Dukes moved to KCK).

Probably not the outcome the AA was expecting when they got set to add GP and Wichita for next season, but they'll manage. Here's hoping the ULB can
get something worked out for Coastal Bend for next season. I just hope nobody with the city gets fooled by the Continental League...I can't believe those
guys are still making waves after no team managed to complete more than 47 games of their "60-game" season due to consistently horrible field
conditions, and two of the...

I agree that CB and StJ are pretty much a package deal. Short of adding a road club, the Blacksnakes may be next to go. If true, so much for expansion this
season.

It's odd the ULB wasn't available for comment; they must be thrilled to capture this former AA facility. With expansion to Brownsville, they can have
the pairing team they need --and right in the area where they have the most clout. Given the (few) local fans I talked to in Robstown, there are people who
have no...
