  The Calgary Vipers and Edmonton Cracker-Cats have been notified that they will not be included in the 2008 Northern League

			<description><![CDATA[ It just seems like it would be too much of a rush at this point. That was one of the problems the Vipers and Cats had to deal with when they first started out.
Yes, you can survive, but the rush makes it nearly impossible. There is little time to market. IMHO they would be better off waiting a year. At best I could
see a road team that plays at various possible future canadian markets. It would give the Edmonton teams somebody to play close by. It would also be a way to

			<description><![CDATA[ I saw on article (I forget where, I&#39;d give the link if I remembered) on the GBL&#39;s 200<strong>9</strong> expansion plans, and it said that they are
trying for at least 4 more Canada teams (I say Kelowna, Saskatoon, Regina, and Kamloops), and at least 2-4 U.S. teams (they said one by the Bay Area, one in
either San Bernardino or Riverside Counties [both are in SoCal], one in Oregon, and one in Washington). Pretty big hopes:

so it&#39;s possible.
