The older I get, the faster time flies by, it seems. What was like yesterday and the end of the season on a hot Saturday in Fort Worth back in September has come and gone.

Here we go again. Ten teams with championship dreams and hopes. We're all even in the standings until a few hours from now. Lots of questions and wondering how things will end up? Can the Cats four-peat? (Very likely not, see below). Will my picks to play for it all, El Paso and St. Paul live up to that...

Wow. I don't know what it is about the Cats, but it seems like they always have to dig themselves into a hole and have a scare put into them before they play at their best.

Cats win 14-0 today to take the South title. A rematch of last year's championship series.

Never would have thought Ft. Worth would come back from being down 0-2 and win this series. I'm pretty proud of these guys. Coming back to play for a championship again in a rebuilding year with only 4 position...

Except I can't seem to find any gopherwood at any of the local lumberyards..

4th of July game rained out tonite, but the fireworks are still going to go on, even if the game isn't.

That's EIGHT home games rained out so far this season, with no end in sight to the almost daily rain we've gotten in the DFW these last two months. Indy league teams don't have the parent ballclub to make up for financial losses from rainouts, like affiliated minor league teams do. The rainouts...
